Jolie is moving to South-Finland!<\/h2>\n

Jolie Lounge & Caf\u00e9 opened its doors in December 2020. The menu changed with the eight seasons here in Lapland and invited everyone to drop in to eat, drink coffee or enjoy our unique cocktails alone, with a friend or a bigger group. Over the course of the past years Jolie had become a popular meeting place where we also organized brunches, themed Friday Night Dinners, music lounge evenings with a live DJ and other interesting events.<\/p>\n

Jolie Lounge & Caf\u00e9 closed its doors in \u00c4k\u00e4slompolo in mid-May 2025. Our story did not end with bankruptcy, burnout or loss of interest, but with the landlord’s desire to take the business premises for his own use starting from June 1st 2025. With a heavy heart we had to give up our beloved place in the heart of \u00c4k\u00e4slompolo at the end of May, as our lease agreement was not extended extended.<\/p>\n

When one door closes, another one opens…<\/h3>\n

For a long time I thought about how I could continue Jolie Lounge & Caf\u00e9. What do I really want: to downsize or expand, more space for creativity and well-being, or more catering? What if there is nothing in Yll\u00e4s, what then? Am I ready to move somewhere else? I then decided that I would go where I find the right place. I did not find it in Yll\u00e4s. A return to Yll\u00e4s sometime in the future is still possible.<\/p>\n

I found it a little further away. This lovely place called Vanha-Norri<\/a> in Kaukj\u00e4rvi (Forssa-Tammela region) popped up in front of my nose in August and the pieces started to fall into place. The property will provide a new home for both Jolie and my family.<\/p>\n

A new beginning<\/h3>\n
Jolie Lounge & Caf\u00e9 has moved to Vanha-Norri and continues the story that began in Yll\u00e4s with a renewed concept.<\/span><\/span> The new premises and new location between Tammela and Forssa, in the middle of the village of Kaukj\u00e4rvi, offer completely different opportunities than in \u00c4k\u00e4slompolo.<\/span><\/span> Our values, food philosophy and familiar favorite products will continue to exist, but the courtyard of the old farm and the spaces of the different buildings allow for a wider combination of creativity and well-being with good food and drink, all year round.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
In the future, Jolie Lounge & Caf\u00e9 will be part of Jolie Vanha-Norri;<\/span><\/span> but as before, Jolie Lounge & Caf\u00e9 will be a year-round relaxed meeting place in the heart of the village for both locals, cottagers and tourists, only the village changed from \u00c4k\u00e4slompolo to Kaukj\u00e4rvi.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
